On Friday night in Toronto, Steph Curry gave Khabib Nurmagomedov an autographed jersey during their match.
At Scotiabank Arena, the former lightweight champion of the UFC watched from courtside as Curry and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Raptors 120-105. The Eagle was astounded to see Curry in action during the game.

Nurmagomedov wrote, “Watching one of the best NBA players in the world live is a different experience.” He posted a picture of Curry on X with the description. “Thank you for the invitation, Toronto Raptors.”
After the initial handshake, the two met courtside and had a brief talk. Curry then gave Nurmagomedov his signed, game-used jersey before they posed for a picture.
Curry wrote, “To Khabib, all love champ,” and signed the top.
On his social media, Nurmagomedov shared images and a video of their encounter along with the caption, “With legendary @stephencurry in Toronto.”
Curry led the Warriors with 25 points in Nurmagomedov, making seven attempts from three-point range. In the victory, he also recorded six rebounds and six assists.

When Nurmagomedov retired in 2020 with a perfect 29-0 record, he relinquished his UFC lightweight title. At the end of his career, he had victories over Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, and Conor McGregor in back-to-back bouts.
Since then, he has run his mixed martial arts promotion, Eagle FC, and worked as a coach for Islam Makhachev, the current lightweight champion.
