Stephen Curry Addresses Future With Warriors 3 Years Before $215,353,664 Deal Expires: “Don’t Put Too Much of a Timeline Outside of My Contract”

Stephen Curry reigns as the ultimate shooting maestro in basketball history. His illustrious journey comes with remarkable honors. He has not only changed the game but also created records that once seemed like a fantasy. As he steps into his 15th NBA season this year, the spotlight remains firmly on Curry. The Golden State Warriors are looking to lift the title in upcoming season. With a determined front office orchestrating strategic moves, the roster seems to be a path of success.

Eliminating concerns of the past, Warriors have regained control over their cap space. In a masterful move, they also induct Chris Paul to their roster, fulfilling their need of a vet. However, it is safe to say that next few years are the perfect opportunity for Dubsnation to win it all; as their star players will not always be around. In a recent interviews, Steph raises tension among fans as he asserts the same.

Stephen Curry hints at uncertainty in his allegiance with Warriors

In a recent interview with Glbert Arena on Gil’s Arena, Stephen Curry was asked on his intentions of playing in the NBA. “You look at guy like LeBron going to year 21. You have target of where you want to play, you wanna get to year 20? Is there a set target or goal you have right now?”

Curry replied, “It’s somewhere in that range, but I never imagined myself being the forty-plus dude trying to hold on for dear life. But who knows what my body will look like or feel like at that point. I got three years left on my deal, including at least that, and then kind of figure it out from there.”

With showing respect for legendary careers of Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson and Dirk Nowitski, Steph implied his desire to end his professional days with Warriors. He pointed out the ability of cultivating a culture and the dynamicity of playing alongside different rosters core aspects of playing out with a single team. Further, Steph displayed his focus on the present tasks at hand. said, “I don’t put too much of a timeline outside of my contract now just knowing that will give me 38 and 17 years in the league. I ain’t skipping out to go play golf just yet.”

The exact duration of Curry’s future in the league remains uncertain. However, it is assured that he will to be with the Warriors for next few years. Right now, Curry is under a four-year $215.3 million deal which will expire in 2025-26.

Steph claims to be the best point guard of all time

Following a captivating off-season, August found Steph embroiled in a contentious debate. It put him against Magic Johnson for the title of the greatest point guard in history. While Magic Johnson had previously held this prestigious mantle, Steph’s consistent brilliance on the court has led to a shifting of allegiances. Many now anoint him as surpassing Magic.

In a recent development, Steph contributed to the discourse by confidently asserting his position at the pinnacle of the debate. “Yes. It’s me and Magic [Johnson). That’s the conversation?” Steph said on Gil’s Arena.

Reports suggest that even Michael Jordan has weighed in on the ongoing debate. Jordan acknowledged that Magic deserves the title due to his attention-grabbing on-court presence. However, MJ left a door open for Steph, highlighting the disparity in championship rings: Magic with five and Steph with four.
