Así, el jugador balear habló con MovistarPlus sobre el triunfo del murciano en el All England Club y le deseó muchos más en el futuro: “Ayer fue un día increíble para todos los que amamos el deporte en general. Creo que el deporte genera emoción, pasión y une al país. Tener a Carlos ganando Wimbledon a los 21 años y ya teniendo cuatro Grand Slams, creo que es algo difícil de poner en palabras. Es una noticia increíble que alguien como Carlos haya llegado inmediatamente después de mí en el mismo deporte.
Es una coincidencia increíble y muy positiva para nuestro deporte. Así que estoy muy feliz por él, ya tiene cuatro y esperemos que vengan muchos más”.
