Steph Curry has spent his time away from NBA rather quietly. He’s been with the family, made business investments and spoken about the Olympics. But nothing much was said about him and the Warriors not making it to the playoffs.

A month after a disappointing end to the season, Steph has finally addressed the elephant in the room.After being declared as a part of the 3rd All-NBA Team, Curry took to X and expressed his gratitude. He wrote, “Even though year 15 didn’t end as planned, a lot to build on and a lot to look forward to!”

He wrote, “See y’all this summer !” alluding to his upcoming stint with Team USA at the Paris Olympics 2024. For the first time in his career, Curry will be representing his nation in the Olympics. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, he reportedly withdrew his name from consideration due to ankle and knee ailments.This might possibly be his first and last chance with Team USA and hence, to win an Olympic gold. Although the 36-year-old player has said that he isn’t “anywhere close” to retirement yet, he will be 40 by the time the next Olympics roll around. The chances of him being able to represent the USA in the next Olympics seem slim. A lesser-known fact about the player is that he is an exceptional golf player. He became the first person of African-American descent and the fifth active athlete to win the American Century Championship last year. He had to skip out on the opportunity of playing this year due to a schedule clash with the Olympics.
